If you are not familiar with the digital scrapbooking world, there’s a whole wealth of material free for personal use out there. You can find some JPG and PSD files sometimes, but the majority of it seems to be saved as transparent PNG files. They are great to use in Fireworks or Photoshop.

Seventy-nine digital scrapbook creators have joined together to create “Christmas Around the World,” a wealth of textures, frames, etc. This material will only be available through December 16th in most cases so pick out what you want while you can (UPDATE: The deadline for most of the downloads has been extended to December 24th). Another website devoted to digital scrapbooking, DigiScrapDepot, has 933 Christmas freebies in their database as of the time I am writing this. Here’s a quick peek:
